Product Description

VIVECRYL SILICONE ECO is an acrylic matt paint for exterior use, based on silicon acrylic resins. It is ideal for areas with wet climate and adverse weather conditions (mountainous or close to the sea areas), as it combines water repellence with high water vapour permeability, providing the ability to the water vapour to escape easily. It is particularly recommended for the restoration of historical and traditional buildings. It has excellent working properties, strong adhesion and high hiding power.
VIVECRYL SILICONE ECO features a great resistance to weather and sunlight, ensuring outstanding protection for exterior surfaces.

Tips & Advice

  • 1. Preparing the Surfaces
    Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from all defective and poorly adhering materials, dirt, grease and salts.
    Prime with Astari Vivedur solvent based primer or with Vivecryl Primer silicone acrylic water based primer.
    Treatments such as sanding, burning off etc of paint films may generate hazardous dust and/or fumes. Wet sanding/ flatting should be used wherever possible. Work in well ventilated areas. Use suitable personal protection equipment.
  • 2. Cleaning
    Clean all equipment with clean water & detergent solution immediately after use.
  • 3. Storing
    Store between 5oC to 40oC.
