VIVELUX is a clear yacht varnish for exterior use that offers long lasting protection and enhances the natural beauty of wood. It can be applied to softwood and hardwood and it is highly recommended for yachts and every woodwork such as doors, windows, and frames. It contains UV filters to protect from the damaging effects of sunlight. It is easy to apply without sagging and gives a tough and elastic film, highly durable to adverse weather conditions.

  • 1. Preparing the Surfaces
    Surfaces must be clean and dry rubbed down with a suitable abrasive paper. On new or bare wood for best protection from fungi apply 1-2 coats of wood preservative VIVEXYL colourless or coloured. Treatments such as dry sanding, flame cutting and/or welding of the dry paint film will give rise to dust and/or hazardous fumes. Wet sanding/flatting should be used wherever possible. Work in well ventilated areas. Use suitable personal protection equipment. For maintenance of previously varnished surfaces apply one coat of VIVELUX.
  • 2. After use
    Do not empty or flush leftover paint from containers and tools or its residues down the sink, toilet, drain or waste bin.
  • 3. Storing
    Store between 5oC to 40oC.
