Vivechrom’s VIVEFIX PLUS Part A is a highly durable waterproofing cement-based mortar, for the waterproofing and protection of concrete and plaster surfaces, with excellent adhesion to horizontal and vertical surfaces. It has great resistance to solar radiation and protects concrete from carbonation. It is suitable for waterproofing roofs, terraces, bathrooms, water towers, swimming pools, etc. It can be used as a one-part system by simply mixing with water, or as a two-parts system in combination with elastic emulsion VIVEFIX PLUS Part B, for very enhanced waterproofing and elasticity, eg in waterproofing zone in Vivechrom’s external thermal insulation composite system THERMOPROTECT, or foundation walls, basements, etc. It is certified with the CE mark according to the harmonized standard EN 1504-2:2004.
• For Vivechrom’s THERMOPROTECT ETICS system: Pour VIVEFIX PLUS Part B (7 lt) into a suitable container and mix it with VIVEFIX PLUS Part A (25 kg) while continuously stirring with an electric stirrer, at low speed for 3-5 minutes, until a homogeneous paste without lumps is created. The mixture is applied in 60-90 minutes, depending on the temperature conditions.
• As a one-part cement-based waterproof coating: add VIVEFIX PLUS Part A to water while stirring continuously (4-5 lt water / 25 kg powder) VIVEFIX PLUS Part A is applied with a stiff brush, roller, or spatula, depending on the type of application, with maximum thickness of 1mm per layer and total thickness of at least 2mm. The second layer is applied crosswise, when the first layer is hard enough (2-5 hours).
Apply at temperatures from +8°C to +35°C. Do not apply under direct sunlight or strong winds.

  • 1. Preparing the Surfaces
    • Surfaces must be flat and firm, solid and without cracks, clean and dry, without loose materials, dust and oils. • Before and after application, the substrate should be watersoaked until saturation.
  • 2. After use
    Do not empty or flush leftover paint from containers and tools or its residues down the sink, toilet, drain or waste bin.
  • 3. Storing
    Store for 12 months from the date of production in sealed packaging, in a dry place, preferably on pallets, and at temperatures between +8°C and +35°C.
