VELATURA is an alkyd based undercoat for enamel paints with a new formulation that provides very easy sanding properties. It is suitable for interior and exterior wooden surfaces. It presents high hiding power and whiteness and combines excellent levelling and working properties. It is recoated with the superior quality enamel paint VIVEWOOD by VIVECHROM. It is available in packs of 750ml, 2,5lt & 5lt, in white and 20 selected shades through VIVECHROM’s tinting system CHROMOSYNTHESIS.

  • 1. Preparing the Surfaces
    Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from all defective and poorly adhering material, dirt and grease and bethoroughly rubbed down using a suitable abrasive paper.
    Wooden surfaces’ imperfections are coated with VIVECHROM’ s acrylic putty STOCOCRYL. Dry sanding, flame cutting and/or welding of the dry paint film will give rise to dust and/or hazardous fumes. Wet sanding/flatting should be used wherever possible. If exposure cannot be avoided by the provision of local exhaust ventilation, suitable respiratory protective equipment should be used.
  • 2. After use
    Do not empty or flush leftover paint from containers and tools or its residues down the sink, toilet, drain or waste bin.
  • 3. Storing
    Store between 5° and 40° C.
