ISOTOP PU HYBRID is a new hybrid technology elastomeric waterproof roof coating, based on acrylic polyurethane.
ISOTOP™ PU HYBRID is a new hybrid technology elastomeric waterproof roof coating based on acrylic polyurethane. It is certified (European Technical Assessment ETA -17/0924) by the Instituto de Ciencias de la Construcción Eduardo Torroja offering top waterproofing with expected working life of the system of 25 years.
It forms a membrane resistant to moisture, standing water and ice. With excellent adhesion and high elasticity, bridges small cracks and joints obtaining excellent resistance to extreme weather conditions from + 80 ° C to -25 ° C. Obtains rapidly a surface hardness with high accessibility to pedestrian traffic without sticking, presenting dirt pick up resistance and maintaining its high whiteness through time.

ISOTOP PU HYBRID is a certified cool paint with high solar reflectance 92%. Reduces significantly the roof temperature in summer and holds it waterproof in winter, minimizing the need for air condition and contributing to energy saving.

Tips & Advice

  • 1. Preparing the Surfaces
    Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from all defective and poorly adhering material, dirt, grease and
    salts.
    Dry sanding, flame cutting and/or welding of the dry paint film will give rise to dust and/or hazardous fumes. Wet sanding/flatting should be used wherever possible. If exposure cannot be avoided by the provision of local exhaust ventilation, suitable respiratory protective equipment should be used.
    To bridge cracks less than 1mm use ELASTIKOS STOKOS by Vivechrom.
    For new or coated surfaces with chalking: Prime with ASTARI VIVEDUR primer thinned up to 20% v/v with Brush Solvent or with VIVELATEX thinned 100-200% v/v with clean water based on surface
    absorption.
  • 2. Storing
    Store between 5oC to 40oC.
