Product Description
Vivechrom’s VIVEFIX 100G is a grey fiber reinforced mortar for bonding all types of thermal insulation boards (EPS, XPS, Mineral Wool, etc.) and is part of Vivechrom’s external thermal insulation
system THERMOPROTECT. It has excellent adhesion to all standard substrates such as concrete, bricks, plasters, etc., and to all thermal insulation boards. It has very good workability and is
resistant to extreme weather conditions. It can also be used as a masonry plaster for interior and exterior walls, columns, and
partitions. It is certified with the CE mark according to the standard EN 998-1:2016.

Application Description
In a container with 6-6.5lt clean water, gradually add 25kg of VIVEFIX 100G powder while continuously stirring with an electric stirrer, at low speed, until a homogeneous paste without lumps is
created. Allow the mixture to mature for 5 minutes and stir again for a while. The mixture is ready to use. Do not add more water than recommended. The shelf life of the mixture is about 4 hours, depending on the temperature and humidity conditions. Avoid very high temperatures and exposure of materials to the sun before use. To achieve bonding on flat substrates, apply VIVEFIX 100G to the back of the thermal insulation board with a spatula. Then “comb” the mortar with a notched trowel so that it is evenly distributed. On non-flat substrates, do spot-bonding: apply VIVEFIX 100G with a trowel in a point in the center and around the perimeter of the thermal insulation board, making sure it covers at least 40% of the surface of the thermal insulation board. Finally, press the board
firmly into place. Clean the excess mortar from the joints. Start laying the insulating boards from the bottom of the masonry
upwards, in a crisscross pattern, and without leaving gaps. Do not apply in single thick layers. Make sure that the layer does not exceed 10 mm. Do not apply at temperatures below +5°C and above +35°C, nor under direct sunlight or strong winds. Protect the contents of VIVEFIX 100G bag from moisture.
